ELECTRIC STRING QUARTET
Asteria are one of the world's most successful and best loved electric string quartets.
The four girls have spent years honing their show into a dazzling choreographed virtuosic spectacle which they have toured all over the world, bringing glamour to beautiful concerts, parties, events and celebrations.
BIOGRAPHY
THE SHOW
The show is a fast-paced spectacle delivered with world class musicianship and slick choreography. Musically it incorporates a fusion of styles, comprising classical crossover favourites and instrumental versions of pop songs from past and present. It also ventures into world music, as the girls transport their audiences into musical scenes of Cuban jazz bars, enchanted Arabic deserts and Mediterranean night clubs.
THE GIRLS
The four Asteria girls met each other through the top London conservatoires where they trained.
Although trained on conventional classical instruments, they bonded through their mutual passion for electric strings and the musical diversity that these offer. As such there is always a warm and vibrant on-stage dynamic between them, born out of their natural musical bond and their love of the show they have honed together.

Asteria usually perform as 4 electric strings to backing track, but the show can be augmented to include a backing band of:

In addition to the backing band, the show can also feature a large or small dance troupe.
The girls love performing with dancers, live bands and enjoy any opportunity to make an event unique and memorable.
